In 2023/24 thanks to funding from Power to Change’s Community Tech Makers initiative, we are exploring ways in which we can try to overcome some of the challenges in collecting and reporting upon data for grassroots organisations.
In this project R&D, tech, and community will come together to discuss data in an effort to create a platform that all parties, especially grassroots organizations, can use and benefit from without worry.
We are now looking for a Freelance Creative Technologist (fixed fee £13,000) and Freelance Research and Development Lead (fixed fee £5,000) to join the project team. These crucial roles will help communities meaningfully input to a community-led solution to data capturing and reporting.
Alongside this we are looking for community groups, grassroots organisations, educational establishments and funders to join the Community Tech Steering group. This is a vital role in which you will help advise and bring expertise to the project we are offering a stipend of £500 for members of the steering group.
