Cleo Lake

Cleo Lake’s passion is for dance forms such as Junglist, Drum and Bass, Dub and Reggae dancing, which are cultural dance forms connected to the African Diaspora and various cultural influences from inner city Bristol. Driven by dance Cleo exists to promote, enjoy and instigate dance and creative activity within Bristol and beyond.

Cleo is inspired by Bristols rich, diverse and global history. Her workshop will work with participants’ stories to create a new folk dance that represents the city of Bristol and what it means to be a Bristolian (by birth or arrival).
