Medea Mahdavi brings together dance with words, music and film to explore life in exile.
Medea’s sessions will explore participants stories as the basis for choreographing movement and dance inspired by cultural traditions.
Her previous projects include Dancing the Knife, which explores encounters and feelings experienced by refugees when they arrive in the UK. It weaves together dance, live music, digital images and text, commissioned from Philip Gross.
