Summer Sessions

Youth Music Makers master class workshops for young people 27th July-24th August

Summer Session at Trinity: 27th July - 24th August

Don't get bored this summer get creative! Trinity will be offering FREE master classes and workshops for young people 13-19 yrs old across different musical forms. Whether you are interested in drumming, dj-ing, guitar tuition, music production or sound-scaping there will be something for you!

Sessions will take place in and around the Trinity Centre, lunch will be provided and we can even help out with travel costs. Places are limited so get in touch to book your space: phoebe@3ca.org.uk

Dj-ing: Learn how to mix it up like a pro. 2hr sessions led by Miss Twist
Sat 27th & Wed 31st July (10am-12pm / 1-3pm)

Production: Do you want to learn how to produce Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Grime, House........or any style of music you're into. Learn how to produce your own track using industry standard software programmes.
Fri 2nd & Sat 3rd August (10am - 3pm*)

Maracatu Drumming: Led by Jackson and MissTwist. Have the chance to learn skills in drumming as part of a group. You will have the chance to explore group drumming using a variety of percussion instruments and learn to drum South African style.
Wed 7th August (10am - 3pm)

Guitar Tuition: One-to-one tuition available in acoustic, electric and bass guitar. Learn the basic skills needed to create a melody on a guitar of your choice and use this to create your own song, led by Miss Twist
Sat 17th & Sat 24th Aug (various times)

Music Video: Create your own music video across 2 days! Whether you are a musician and want a short music video produced to a piece of music you have already made or whether you want to get behind a camera, learn how to film and edit using industry professional equipment and editing software, these workshops are for you!!!
2 day music video work shops either 5th & 6th or 8th & 9th August

Sound-scaping: Get outdoors and find new ways of making recordings to create original new tracks. Using sounds recorded in the outdoor environment, you will then use these to make your own piece of music! (Music Leader TBC)
Sat 17th & Sat 24th Aug (10am - 3pm)
