Touching Sound is an immersive workshop exploring sound, vibration, and the science behind listening.
Through experiments, playful interactions, and the discovery of our DIY sound system, we will introduce the fundamentals of sound physics, electroacoustics, and transducer techniques.

Brussels-based Pssound bring their sound system to Bristol for a series of workshops and a club night.

For girls aged 10–18

Girls only session led by experienced female youth workers (anyone who identifies as a girl)

Delivered by Bristol Horn Youth Concern & Trinity Community Arts through the Love Stapleton Road Young People Programme

This is a safe, welcoming and supportive space where young girls can make new friends, build confidence, discuss issues you want to learn about, and take part in fun activities and speak openly in a positive environment. You will have an input with who you would like to come to sessions also.

We would love to see young people from across Bristol join us every week. Please come along and share this with families, schools, youth groups and the wider community to help us spread the word.

We are looking for a Music Programme Coordinator to join our Music team during a period of maternity cover. This is a chance to play a key role in delivering an eclectic programme of live music and club events in a space unlike any other - from grassroots gigs to high-energy club nights.

Working closely with promoters, artists and partners, you’ll help bring ambitious events to life in a venue that audiences and performers genuinely care about. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, creative environment where no two nights are the same, and where attention to detail and strong relationships make all the difference.

An essential night of experimental, radical sound as Brussels-based Pssound bring their sound system to Bristol, joining forces with London’s Black Obsidian Sound System and local heavyweights i-sha and k-means.

Rooted in intersectional feminist, anti-racist and anti-colonial practice, the night centres marginalised gender artists and reimagines the dancefloor as a space for collective power, pressure and release.

Following their self-titled 2020 debut, the trio released two acclaimed mini-albums, In Spring (2021) and On The Turning Ground (2023) on World of Echo. Their upcoming Somewhere Good LP marks their most fully realised work, moving through themes of self‑defeat, disease, displacement, restlessness, and gentrification with arrangements that breathe, cross‑pollinate, and grow in the listener’s imagination.

While echoes of Bristol’s trip‑hop lineage, avant‑pop, modern classical, kraut‑folk, audio verité, and even shades of indie rock can be heard, the trio ultimately sound like no one but themselves—idiosyncratic, evocative, and consistently surprising.

Roska is a long‑standing UK producer, remixer, and DJ whose skippy drum patterns, club‑focused sound, and genre‑shifting innovation have made him one of the country’s most accomplished underground figures.

Tailor Jae is an East London–born DJ, producer, and presenter known for her raw, heavy‑bass style, quick‑fire mixes, and boundary‑pushing approach that’s earned her widespread recognition across major platforms and stages.
