Formed in Bristol in 2020, Tara Clerkin Trio brings together Tara Clerkin, Sunny Joe Paradisos, and Patrick Benjamin. Their music blends mystery and experimentation, blurring the lines between live performance, synthesis, and meticulous studio construction to create a sound entirely their own.

Following their self-titled 2020 debut, the trio released two acclaimed mini-albums, In Spring (2021) and On The Turning Ground (2023) on World of Echo. Their upcoming Somewhere Good LP marks their most fully realised work, moving through themes of self‑defeat, disease, displacement, restlessness, and gentrification with arrangements that breathe, cross‑pollinate, and grow in the listener’s imagination.

While echoes of Bristol’s trip‑hop lineage, avant‑pop, modern classical, kraut‑folk, audio verité, and even shades of indie rock can be heard, the trio ultimately sound like no one but themselves—idiosyncratic, evocative, and consistently surprising.
