The entertainment is included and is different every time - in the past Curious Bazar have put on everything from face painting to henna tattoos; line dancing lessons to belly dancing displays; magicians to reptile shows!
At this Curious Bazaar expect:

Interactive workshops – this could be jewellery making, create a piece of art or pottery or other exciting activities.
Every market supports a local charity with a % of the door money donated and a free promotional space for the charity.

]]>Craft activities will be set up based on a storybook for parents to create with their children, and a story will be read to the group in a reading circle to bring each session to a close
Hosted in the Main Hall, these sessions welcome families from our local community during term time, running from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Parent-led play will be supported and encouraged through arts and crafts related to a different storybook each week.
We're looking forward to welcoming families back to the space and meeting some new faces! Sessions are free to attend, with a suggested donation of £3 to help support and keep these sessions going.
]]>Downstairs you'll find a comic, illustration and zine fair bursting at the seams with ziney and zillary goodness from over 50 artists to feed your eyes and souls. Jaunt upstairs for animation screenings and discussions hosted by our wonderful friends at Animinspo, who will once again be awarding the best in independent animation. Rounding out the day there'll be a variety of workshops, talks and performances to take part in and enjoy.
Keep an eye out for the Zinezilla Comics Anthology that will be making a return, as well as big kaiju friends Gordon, Kong and Meg who you'll find dotted around the festival.

You might be dancing at a céilí on one stage, listening to a session in another room, while children take part in music learning nearby. This is intentional. Bristol Seed Swap want as many people as possible to grow food and to get into gardening generally. Money should be no barrier to doing so. Donations for entry and for seeds are welcome if you can afford it - it is entirely at your discretion, no one is going to ask you about it.
Bristol Seed Swap Events are self-funding and run entirely by volunteers. Next year's event depends on this year's breaking even. "I don't have seeds to swap, can I still join in?" Absolutely yes. Everyone has to start somewhere, and we want to get everyone growing - whether you have a window box, a small Bristol front garden or are on the waiting list for an allotment.

]]>Kick off with a warm-up before you prance ecstatically and unguided for 60 minutes. Bring your most flamboyant moves, or just finger-dance in a corner - all are welcome.
Keep the event alive by supporting with a fiver in cash or card at the donation station. You won’t be turned away if you're in a financial pickle, but please donate if you can.
Newcomers are welcome! It’s okay to feel nervous, especially if you come alone. Dancing freely around others is a courageous act. Yet we come together to overcome our fears. If it helps, a bunch of bobbling humans is meant to look hilarious and not #InstaCool. You’re welcome to stay for snacks and chatter at the end.
Please bring earplugs if you are sensitive to loud music.
Dress code: wear whatever you like but fancy dress is encouraged.
Ecstatic Prance will run on the following (additional dates released throughout the year)
Expect the usual great tunes, great company and a chance to see all your friends or make lots of new ones. Some of our members come for a while – some stay the whole night.
Music will come from DJs (Will, David, A-J) who are here to get you on the dance floor. You can let one of the Misfits Team on the day if you have a special music request. There is plenty of space to sit back and watch if you prefer and the bar will be open all evening (18+, ID required for buying drinks).
There is some parking on site, you just need to pay at the car park machine or via the Ringo app for how many hours you stay. If the car park is full, you can also park on nearby street parking.

The Misfit’s Guide to a Good Night Out
Travel Safely:
Make sure someone knows where you are going and when you expect to be back.

Know your limits:
We all love dancing at Rhythm of The Night but it is also good to take a break when you need to.
Keep yourself safe by not drinking more than you can manage.
Enjoy yourself and allow others to enjoy themselves too:
We all have the right to have a good time. If you don’t feel comfortable because of someone else’s actions let the Misfits Team or Venue Staff know and we can help.
Keep an eye out on other people you are with. If we all look out for each other, we can all have a good time.
Respect each other's space and give each other room.
Bristol Salsa Congress is a celebration of salsa and bachata, packed with workshops, parties, shows and lots of social dancing.
Amazing instructors will be leading a variety of workshops during the day including:
Cross Body Salsa On1&On2, Bachata, Kizomba, Cuban Salsa, Cha Cha, Pachanga, Latin Jazz, Musicality, Boogaloo, Dips and Tricks, Leading and Following Technique.
The workshops are designed for all levels - from beginner to advanced.
Beginners will be able to get the right knowledge from instructors who have taught for years in different countries, but above all, they will understand all the techniques and tips necessary to get ready for the world of dance.
