Jonathon Porritt is a veteran climate campaigner, advisor and writer, and has consistently highlighted the environmental crisis and its threat to social and ecological justice - over 50 years of constantly looking for solutions.

His newly published, eleventh book, 'Love, Anger & Betrayal', visits the latest generation of climate activists and documents the experiences of 26 insightful young people - his co-authors - who joined Just Stop Oil's Nonviolent Civil Resistance. The book reveals their passion for a just and sustainable transition away from our global economic and cultural dependence on fossil fuels. But who, with the political power, is listening?

Ever wondered how a quantum particle moves, or how a dancer might move to express it?

Ever pondered what kind of technology we are really likely to get out of quantum physics and what place there might be for you in achieving that?

Ever tried to imagine what you’d look like if you could see yourself made up of quantum particles?

Got a burning question about quantum phenomena you would love to ask an expert working in quantum science and technology?

Or would you rather see an artist put it to you in different terms?

To celebrate the UNESCO International Year of Quantum Science and Technology and mark World Quantum Day, we invite you to join for a day of all things quantum in science, technology, art and dance.

The day includes talks, a panel discussion, workshops, an exhibition including all sorts from interactive quantum art to careers information and quantum inspired dance theatre. With representatives from the University of Bristol’s research community, the quantum industry, and arts and culture this is the place to really discover quantum.

Join Club Love for the second instalment of their official monthly mid week socials where their gorgeous community get to meet up outside a clubbing and play environment to chat all things ENM, do a bit of shopping/swapping and soak in a talk or demo. If you are curious about their play parties this is the perfect event to meet likeminded people and have all your questions answered with no pressure or judgement.

This month Club Love have a workshop led by Alice Lovegood, a seasoned sex educator and conscious kink practitioner from Bettersx.blog, this workshop is designed for curious attendees eager to explore the realms of kink in a safe and empowering environment. Discover the nuances of navigation, communication ,and safety in sensual play, as well as techniques like sensory deprivation, temperature play(ice and heat), impact play, and elements of tantra. Embrace the art of being fully present in your body without extremes, focusing on connection, pleasure , and personal empowerment. Followed by a live impact demonstration.

They will also be joined by GoodGood PleasureSub, a creative collective exploring physical storytelling through multidisciplinary creative platforms. There will also be drawings, prints, zines, t-shirts & other GoodGood goodies for you to tuck into on their stall. Non members will also have the opportunity to be vetted for Club Love Membership in person at the event.

Club Love are also initiating the KINKY CLOTHES SWAP. Bring all the bits you don’t wear anymore, don’t fit ( we’ve all bought stuff we’ve forgotten to return) or the some beloved items you want to share with someone else. In the spirit of being conscious about fast fashion let’s start a community rotation of all our kinky clothes which gives us the opportunity to revive or reinvent our current Club Love looks.

Everyone is subject to our vibe checks on entry. This is not a cruising event. You will be turned away if we feel your intentions are misaligned or your vibe is off.
