<p>Open to any disabled adults over 18 in Bristol and the surrounding areas.</p>
<p>Creative Challenges are short creative tasks that help everyone   become more creative! Each challenge is different, and helps you think   of different ways to do something creative. We'll have a selection of   challenges for people to choose from, and lots of different materials to   use. You can make pictures using card, fabrics and glues, draw  in ink   and pencils, and even write poetry!</p>
<p>Art, writing, discussing, making, drinking cups of tea and creating!</p>
<p>Free refreshments</p>
<p>No need to book, just pop-in!</p>

<p><b>Tomorrow’s Warriors</b> is the hippest young jazz collective in the country and in 2015 is returning to Bristol to run a brand new series of jazz workshops, at Trinity Centre for young musicians with lots of potential and who just love to know more about playing jazz. Tomorrow’s Warriors has spawned some of the most exciting young jazz musicians over the past two decades, including the award-winning<b> Zara McFarlane</b> (MOBO Best Jazz Act 2014); <b>Moses Boyd</b>, winner of the 2014 Worshipful Company of Musicians’ Prize for Young Jazz Musician of the Year; and Music for Youth National Festival Award winners for Best Jazz Ensemble Tomorrow’s Warriors Female Collective (2014) and <b>Ezra Collective</b> (2013).</p>
<p><b>Tomorrow’s Warriors</b> has been instrumental in developing several internationally-touring artists, helping them achieve their ambitions and forge successful professional careers...D<b>enys Baptiste, Soweto Kinch, Abram Wilson, Nathaniel Facey, Jason Yarde, Julie Dexter, Andrew McCormack, Shabaka Hutchings, Eska Mtungwasi</b>...out of a cast of so many others!</p>
<p>Tomorrow’s Warriors founder and artistic director,<b> Gary Crosby OBE</b> heads the Young Artist Development Programme with a fabulous team of inspirational music leaders – all active professional musicians developed through our programmes who can help young people discover what it’s like to be a real jazz musician.</p>
<p>We’re inviting young musicians to come along with instruments and take part in Tomorrow’s Warriors inspirational jazz workshop where they will enjoy:</p>
<p>Learning how to understand and express the language of Swing Exploring Jazz and its influence on music from the African Diaspora Skill building and community building in music - learning to come together Expressing life through music and Jazz Tomorrow’s Warriors monthly workshop sessions take place on Sundays at the Trinity Centre.</p>
<p>These workshops are completely <b>free to join</b> so there’s no need to worry about the cost!</p>
<p><b>Our sessions are open to all budding musicians:</b> they don’t need exams but should have the desire to play jazz music, bring their own instruments (except for drums and keyboards which will be provided) and bags of enthusiasm.</p>
<p>The workshops and open jam session are followed by a performance featuring current Tomorrow’s Warriors’ young musicians, ending with a blues played by all the participants and Tomorrow’s Warriors.</p>

<p>A great and fun way to meet new people  and have a chat over a drink  or two, along with some great music from our regular DJs to do  some dancing and socialising.</p>

All visitors, including blue badges, need to  purchase a ticket on arrival for the duration of their stay. There is a grace period of 10 minutes for people who need to drop off/pick up. <br /> <br />Payments can be made by  card, via a smartphone app, online or cash on our existing P&amp;D machines. Trinity receives all revenue from P&amp;D parking which goes back into the  charity and help us support groups and events like Misfits.</i></p>

<p>Workshop leader Neus Gil Cortés, founder of NUA Dance offers an open and engaging workshop for the curious amongst you. NUA Dance aim to make every participant feel that they leave having explored their own thoughts and have found a way to physically celebrate their own voice.</p>
<p>This workshop price includes a ticket to <a class="external-link" href="https://www.circomedia.com/quimera/">QUIMERA at Circomedia on 20th September</a> and gives you a chance to perform in the last scene!</p>
<p><strong>About Neus Gil Cortés...</strong></p>
<p>With more than ten years of experience as a dance artist, Neus previously danced in companies such as Hofesh Shechter Company, National Dance Company Wales, Protein and Dance Works Rotterdam, amongst others.  <br /><br />As a choreographer, her work has been commissioned worldwide, including performances at festivals such as World Stage Design and Ellas Crean, companies such as Frontier Danceland (Singapore) and several national CAT programmes, including the London Youth Circus.</p>
<p>She has taught workshops for people over 50s for East London Dance- Leap of Faith, Damn Fine Dance, CD60+ and Retrospectif.</p>]]></content:encoded>

<p><a href="https://ldap2.3ca.org.uk/activities/community-activity/old/hype-dance" class="internal-link">Hype Dance company</a> will be open through the summer holidays! come and learn different street dance styles and also have fun, build confidence and meet new people.</p>
<p>Classes are held every Wednesday:</p>
<p>6pm to 7pm for ages 5-11 yrs old<br />7pm to 8pm for ages 12+</p>
<p>£5 per session (please arrive 10 minutes early to sign in)</p>

<p>The Hype crew has also opened for big acts performing in Bristol, like Sean Paul, Neyo and Ginuwine and has had regular appearances in Bristol's annual events like the Harbour Festival, BrisFest; St Paul's Carnival, Breakin' Convention and appeared on big TV shows like Britain's Got Talent and Got to Dance.</p>

<p>This is an exciting opportunity to work intensively with Untold Dance Theatre.  The weekend will include a contemporary class in the morning followed by repertoire and creative.  We will explore movement material and themes from Untold’s current work Women-Wise.  Additionally we will investigate movement from Untold’s new work in progress currently titled Practically Perfect.</p>
<p>This workshop is suitable for people of all ages, but must come with some dance experience.</p>
<p>The day runs from 10am - 5pm - getting in from 9:30am.</p>

<p><strong>Want to drum and dance? It’s easy!</strong></p>
<p>Ilu Axe has three groups or learning and performance levels, Beginner,  Intermediate and Stage Group, with people moving from one level to the  next as and when the pieces taught in the particular level (both the  music and the choreography) reach the required standard.</p>
<p>Drums and sticks etc all provided. With our incredible,  loveable teachers you’ll straight away begin learning the rhythms and  the choreography and all the drum and stick technique stuff.</p>
