The hope is for this regular weekly morning class to be a home of sorts for professional dancers from Bristol and for those visiting; providing a place to gather, to take care of and expand their dance practice.</p>
<p>A group of Bristol-based dance artists will take it in turn to lead morning class, each drawing on their own experiences of dance and of other somatic and body-mind practices.</p>
<p>Whether through improvisation or the learning of set material these classes welcome each mover to explore and bring their attention to their own sense of being and moving. Come along to interrogate and deepen your dancing craft.</p>
<p><b>Level </b> <br />Experienced movement practitioners.</p>
<p><b>Time </b><br />The space will be open from 9.45am, class time is 10-11.30am, with time to stretch and meet 11.30-12noon.</p>

<p>A small cohort of Bristol-based artists will take it in turn to lead morning class, each drawing on their own experiences of dance and of other somatic and body-mind practices. Whether through improvisation or the learning of set material the class is explorative in essence, each mover invited to bring their attention to their own sense of being and moving. It provides a stimulating environment for artists to tend to and to fuel their dancing craft.</p>
<p><br />The class will hop from venue to venue across Bristol. We will begin in the Spielman Theatre at Tobacco Factory Theatres until Easter and will continue at Trinity Centre all the way to the Summer break. Double check location before travelling!</p>

<p>You'll be working alongside a small team of friendly volunteers.</p>
<p>Sessions are for everyone 18+ years old. Lunch and reasonable travel expenses may be claimed back once you are a regular Trinity Volunteer.</p>

<p>Trinity Centre welcome<a href="https://ldap2.3ca.org.uk/activities/ignite" class="internal-link"> IGNiTE</a> associate artist: <a href="https://ldap2.3ca.org.uk/activities/ignite/commissions-residencies/residencies-2017/ella-mesma" class="internal-link">Ella Mesma Company</a> for a week long residency from 15 - 20 Apr.</p>
<p>As part of their residency the company invite you to join them each morning for an open dance and movement workshop (Mon - Fri,10am - 11.30am).</p>
<p>EMC have a unique movement language using a range of techniques such as contemporary dance, contact work from partner dances (such as salsa, tango, kizomba), breaking, Afro-Latin and Latin folkloric dances, capoeira and aerial dance. In these workshops you will use elements from the series of seven workshops for dance artists and dance lovers called the “HOME Series”, inspired by the chakra system and created on the dance company.</p>

<p><strong>About EMC</strong></p>
<p>EMC are a British based dance theatre company who use folk dances in a contemporary context to allow transformation: telling personal and global and stories and connecting to our truest selves. The company strive to undo limiting beliefs, explore healing and celebrate cultural and social identity using dance and theatre. With a mix of dance forms, circus and theatre, the work is bold, political and personal.<br />Cost: £4 + booking fee per class or £15 + booking fee for the week.</p>

Ecstatic Dance is a safe, held and sacred space for you to dance, move, release, express, connect with yourself and others, relax, let go and unwind. It can be fun, deep, uplifting, ecstatic, liberating and so much more. It takes place over a 2 hour live DJ set. The DJ takes you on a dance journey through different energies, genres and tempos.  <br /><br />DJ OSARA is an international Ecstatic Dance DJ and the founder of Ecstatic Dance Bristol. He's been a conscious dance DJ since 2017 and has roots in underground dance music, African drumming and sacred sound. He deeply loves DJ'ing his favourite, latest sounds and bringing people together in such a deep, fun and uplifting way. <p>A playful and gentle dance movement class specifically designed for people living with Parkinson’s. Bring your partner or carer along to join in too. All welcome, no previous dance experience required, just a willingness to have fun!</p>
<p>The classes are lead by Dancers from The Original Spinners who are trained to deliver dance to people living with Parkinson’s and currently lead sessions at Southmead Hospital.</p>
<p><strong>Details</strong><br />Classes run every Tuesday from 10.30am – 12pm <br />(Dancing from 10.30am-11.30am followed by tea, coffee, biscuits and a chance to socialise)<br />Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.</p>

<p>The West of England Centre for Inclusive Living (<a href="http://www.wecil.co.uk/">WECIL</a>) is holding monthly Creative Challenges at Trinity on the <span style="text-decoration: underline;">last Thursday of every month</span>.</p>
<p>Creative Challenges are short creative tasks that help everyone become more creative! Each challenge is different, and helps you think of different ways to do something creative. We'll have a selection of challenges for people to choose from, and lots of different materials to use. You can make pictures using card, fabrics and glues, draw  in ink and pencils, and even write poetry!</p>
<p>Art, writing, discussing, making, drinking cups of tea and creating!</p>
<p>Free refreshments</p>
<p>No need to book, just pop-in!</p>
