Young British guitarists Mikhail Asanovic and Jake Wright, together known as The Showhawk Duo, have dazzled audiences worldwide with their spectacular approach to playing the guitar.
Their playing style has broken down barriers between acoustic and electronic music. Whether playing old-school trance classics or modern funky house, their live show knows no boundaries and will leave you amazed.
Mik is a classical guitarist at heart, having studied at Manchester's RNCM whereas Jake is an electric junkie and grew up playing in rock and metal bands. Mik's classical foundation shines through in the music with Jake's raw percussive approach always keeping the crowd moving. Together they create a truly unique and impressive sound, and have turned many "acoustic"nights into a thumping rave.Together, they started out as buskers and have since gone on to play all over the globe. They have appeared on BBC Radio 1 on the Nick Grimshaw’s Breakfast Show,

]]>Dear Shroomers,
We are sorry to announce that we are cancelling this date/postponing until our 12th March date. We know this will be disappointing, we are disappointed too. However, we are concerned that the three weeks between now and then is not long enough for this stage of the pandemic to blow itself out. The risk to us is twofold. First, there is the financial risk. To put on the show we do at the price we charge means that if we only get 50% of our usual number, it will hurt and we know for a fact that ticket sales for this kind of event, in bristol at least, are down across the board. It would create a large amount of stress for us waiting to see if people will decide to go at the last minute based on the latest covid situation. Second, and this is the one that really worries us, is that while this wave is still breaking strong, there is a risk that one, or more, of our crew goes down with covid the week before, and that would really screw things up and again create real stress and also have a huge effect on the end product.
We do these parties because they are fun to do, and we enjoy putting them on as much as you enjoy coming to them but we hold ourselves to high standards. The idea of doing this one at this time does not fill us with joy. We are very hopeful that by the time our next date comes around, on 12th March, we will have a good window between variants to put on a party everyone can enjoy being a part of.

The group released their ninth studio album, Access Denied, in 2020 The album showcases ADF in full-spectrum mode; with tracks going from tough, jungle punk to meditative orchestras. ]]>Across the evenings of 19th and 20th November, we invite some of the UK’s finest djs and sharpest dance music provocateurs to raise the roof for our final dance of the year.
Joining Ben UFO on the Friday night are Anz, Shanti Celeste and Toma Kami.
Anz is one of the breakout stars of the past year in UK dance music with her Loos in Twos EP on Hessle Audio followed by the launch of her OTMI label and the band new All Hours EP on Ninja Tune.
Peach Discs boss Shanti Celeste is surely one of the best DJs in the UK. Known for her contemporary U.K. takes on the classic Motor City sound combined with the visions of the early Techno pioneers, she is guaranteed to bring the heat the dance floor.
Warming up the boards on Friday night is Toma Kami who’s releases on Livity Sound and his own Man Band label have gained him a well earned reputation not only as an innovator and visionary producer but also a killer dj.
Saturday night sees a change in pace with Club Fitness, Laksa and Equinox joining Ben UFO on the decks.
Club Fitness is one of the hottest names in the London dance scene known for her high energy house and techno sets and occasional guest slots on NTS.
Laksa returns to his hometown of Bristol, bringing his signature cutting edge sound to the dance. If you’re familiar with his releases on Hessle Audio, Time Dance and Illian Tape, you’ll know what to expect.
Equinox is a legend of the UK Jungle scene having been there from the very start and releasing some absolute classics along the way. An incredible DJ, Equinox is going to rip the roof off.
This is a sound system event with Full VOID arcline 8 system with 12 subs and will be loud, please bring ear plugs!
