]]>Having gone from strength to strength in recent years, most specifically with the TQD project and fresh off the back of his all night, all week tour, DJ Q is at the top of his game right now. Expect his classic blend of UK garage & bassline as he traverses everything from 130 to 140bpm over a 2 hour set.
Next up is a back to back Free Range have been looking to put on a show for some time. Two grime legends in the shape of Slimzee & Spooky join us - expect unreleased heaters and the finest in 140. Nico Lindsay joins them on microphone duties.
Last but most certainly not least is one of our favourite artists at Freerange - Swindle. Forever innovative and eclectic he always puts on a special show. Bubbly and different we’re delighted to have him on the bill. We expect this one to sell rapidly so don’t hesitate.

Following on the announcement that her debut album, ‘Things I’ve Never Said’, will be released this March 17th, Berkshire-born songwriter and multi award-nominated vocalist Frances announces her biggest European tour to date this Spring, including a very special homecoming show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire.
From delivering knockout performances at this year’s Glastonbury, Coachella, Latitude, Dockville and and Lollapalooza festivals to playing to a sold out crowd for her headline show at KOKO in May, Frances has been honing her powerful, yet intimate live shows to crowds across the globe. Now, to celebrate the announcement of her hotly-anticipated debut album, Britain's next big star returns for a string of special dates throughout the UK and Europe.
Collaborating with the likes of Greg Kurstin (Adele), Jimmy Napes (Sam Smith, Alicia Keys) and Howard Lawrence (Disclosure), ‘Things I’ve Never Said’ is a deeply personal, emotive collection tracking the last 2 years of Frances’ story. From touchingly-honest ballads like ‘Let It Out’ and ‘Cry Like Me’ to classic, upbeat pop production on ‘Say It Again’, the album represents the impressive range of the young artist. A range you can clearly see in her upcoming single ‘Grow’, a track that launched her career and gained Frances the ears of both the public and the industry. A new mix of the single will be available to buy and stream from January 2017.
A sublimely talented live performer, Frances recently performed her new single ‘Don’t Worry About Me’ as part of Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer fundraiser this October. ‘Grow’ will also be included on the soundtrack to upcoming feature film ‘Mum’s List’, a film by Niall Johnson starring Rafe Spall and Emilia Fox which opens in UK cinemas nationwide on 25th Nov, 2016. Released on both Deluxe and Standard formats, the album will be available to buy and stream from the 17th of March.

The pair met at secondary school in Hackney, London. Taylor's parents were both English teachers and inevitably, various literary influences trickled into the duo's music known for their crafted and often confessional song writing style.
London’s famous Konk Studios, to record their most confident and collaborative work to date. The latest self titled album, inspired by Taylor’s relationship with partner and artist Billie Marten, explores love in all its early forms and features artists such as Laura Marling, Bombay Bicycle Club and M Field.

]]>Music can often be directly rooted to one location – murky electronics belong to London nightbus rides; smoke-filled saxophone solos evoke images of dusky New York jazz bars – but there’s a lot to be said about music with a universal appeal, a kind which refuses to be pinned down to one specific time and place.
Paris-based multi-instrumentalist Vincent Fenton is a specialist in the latter. As FKJ, aka French Kiwi Juice, his loose and colourful arrangements could soundtrack anything: a house party in Hong Kong, a road trip through the Australian outback, a post-midnight walk alone across moonlit European streets. It’s all there on his 2017 self-titled debut album, which flits between fidgety electronics, smooth blues and pristine pop, all with the flick of a switch.
FKJ’s universal appeal goes a long way to explaining his current, impressive border-crossing rise. With every song on his debut racking up millions Spotify plays, his shows sell out in Asia, Europe, Australia, NZ and America, and his unique, spontaneity-first live delivery – frog-leaping between guitars, keys, sax, vocals and more – is capable of translating to both intimate and giant venues.
Fenton’s journey began as a teenager, where he started to compose songs in his bedroom, and later in-between working as a cinema sound engineer in France. Self-taught and self-starting, he learnt the ropes on countless instruments, before finding an early home on future-facing French collective / label Roche Musique.
2012 EP Time for a Change set a stall for slick, sophisticated, cinematic pop. But if this release got by on an anything-goes approach, 2017’s French Kiwi Juice goes even further. Throughout, there’s a sense that no idea, however ambitious, is dismissed out of hand by Fenton. And the title of the record’s closing track acts as something of a mantra for his work: ‘Why Are There Boundaries’.

Mr Benn: Reared on a tasty diet of Aswad, The Specials and King Tubby, 90s hip hop, plenty of jungle and hi-life rhythms, the musical influences behind DJ / producer Mr Benn’s sound are vast and wide but always rooted in a passion for the heavy, heavy bass that his home town of Bristol is so renowned for.
Eva Lazarus: A love of many different styles show to be a key part of her writing and performance, this has become an identity stamp for her in her chosen collaborations, showcasing her as writer who can credibly handle different genres.

Hailed as one of the most vital standard-bearers of modern African music, Fatoumata Diawara takes her artistry to fresh and thrilling heights on her new album FENFO.
Boldly experimental yet respectful of her roots, it’s a record that defines her as the voice of young African womanhood – proud of her heritage but with a vision that looks confidently to the future and a message that is universal.
Her spectacular 2011 debut album Fatou made the Malian singer and guitarist the most talked about new African artist on the planet. FENFO (which translates as “something to Say”’) dramatically fulfils that promise on a set of vivid and original new compositions that draw on the rich experiences she has enjoyed since.
“I’ve had so many different musical adventures since the last album, touring and working with so many other musicians and I think you can hear how all of that feeds into this record,” she says. “This is my time and I’m sharing my soul.”
Those she has worked with include some of the biggest names in contemporary music. She recorded with Bobby Womack and Herbie Hancock; played Glastonbury and other major festivals; and toured with the Cuban pianist Roberto Fonseca. She assembled a West African super-group featuring Amadou and Mariam, Oumou Sangaré and Toumani Diabaté to record a song calling for peace in her troubled homeland; and climbed aboard Damon Albarn’s star-studded Africa Express, which culminated in her sharing a stage with Sir Paul McCartney.

He just got through to the finals of Red Bull 3Style AND recently supported Fatboy Slim (on a boat no less). His DJ sets include some slick turntablism, next level combos and plenty of original productions.

If there was ever a time to use the phrase “one to watch” - it’s when referring to Mr Stabalina. Although he is relatively new to the scene Mr Stabalina is already absolutely smashing it. Expect some ridiculous mashups, a stupid amount of samples, and a extremely large helping of funk.
