Afrika Eye: More Than A Number

An exceptional and thought-provoking exhibition from photographers across Africa caught between modernity and tradition.

Curated by Cynthia Sitei (Ffotogallery), this is an exceptional and thought-provoking work by 12 photographers from across Africa, caught between modernity and tradition, who explore how different cultures produce meaning through images. They encourage us to look deeply and clearly into their work and engage in a conversation around rights of representation, questions of identity and cultural difference.

This free exhibition is open to the public in November from:

Monday 7 12pm - 8pm

Tuesday 8 12pm - 6pm

Wednesday 9 3pm - 8pm

Thursday 10 12pm - 7pm

Friday 11 12pm - 8pm

Saturday 12 12pm - 8pm

Sunday 13 12pm - 8pm

Monday 14 3pm - 8pm

Tuesday 15 12pm - 6pm

Afrika Eye is South West of England’s biggest celebration of African cinema and culture.
