Alfa Mist is a British musician, producer, songwriter and MC based in Newham, London.
Like many teenagers from Newham, Alfa Mist was initially turned on to music by grime and hip-hop. However, once he learned that many of the samples used by his favourite artists originated from jazz, he investigated that genre further. He released his first solo EP Nocturne in 2015 and since then, has gone on to collaborate with the likes of Jordan Rakei, Yussef Daves and Tom Misch. Having released one of 2021's best jazz albums with Bring Backs, Alfa Mist has now announced a new album, Variables, due April 21st 2023 via ANTI-.
+ support: Hailing from the coastal town of Broadstairs (Kent), JSPHYNX (AKA Johnny Woodham) is a talented trumpeter, who cut his teeth performing alongside the likes of Barney Artist, Mr Jukes, Corto Alto, Ego Ella May, Tom Misch, Loyle Carner, Ashley Henry, Jordan Rakei, Tertia May, Subculture & Maisha.
