Daz's Rock 4 Charity
Darren Sims aka “Daz” is a Bristol-born professional musician / singer and prolific fundraiser.
Since 2007, he has organised his “Daz’s Rock 4 Charity” concerts in Bristol, Hull and Weston-Super-Mare, which have contributed to his near £1.2 Million pounds raised for individuals, charities and good causes across the UK. Daz received Fundraiser of the year Pride of Britain award in 2017 for his region and also a Prime Minister's Point of Light award for his fundraising. He also featured in an episode of the BBC One Show which included tributes paid by Rock legends Brian May from Queen and Roger Daltrey from The Who.
Daz is an ambassador for Variety The Children's Charity, and the concert will be helping Variety to purchase a Sunshine Coach minibus to help disabled and disadvantaged children in the UK. The coach will also be in memory of his dearly missed mother, Mary 'Nannie' Sims, who the concert is also in memory of. As quoted by VENUE magazine; "If there was a list of a 101 things to do before you die, get to see Daz perform”.
Expect a full and fun-filled night of entertainment, with performances by Daz an OASIS Tribute Band - Cidernova, local Singer Katie-Leigh, DJ Dampy and a few special guests...
All profits are going to Variety The Children’s Charity (Registered Charity Number 209259)
