'Nick Banks is the time-keeper of Pulp, and within these covers are the early times, the good times, the not-so-good times and the WTF times. Do You Remember the First Time? Nick does. Great stuff.' - Jarvis Cocker
About From Punk to Pulp
Nick's book recounts his journey from being a punk, then a goth and then becoming, in 80s Sheffield, first a fan of Pulp and then their drummer. Having first formed in 1978, Pulp finally had huge mainstream success 15 years later and Nick's memoir reflects on the years spent chasing success, touring triumphs and horrors and the process of writing and recording their most famous albums.
