Featuring Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage, The Ciderhouse Rebellion and Sisanda Myataza

Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage

Since 2016 Hannah Sanders and Ben Savage have been hypnotising audiences with their unique blend of Americana-tinged folk. Possessing a chemistry reminiscent of the great Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings, onstage, the intertwining duo are playful & instinctive. Hannah Sanders has a voice of disarming purity that massages your senses. Ben Savage is a singular guitarist& a bubbling fermen tof energy. Together, their harmonies & unique stage presence shimmer with an infectious enthusiasm and joy for the connection music offers.

The Ciderhouse Rebellion

Profound, epic, haunting and dramatic, The Ciderhouse Rebellion sees master musicians Adam Summerhayes (violin) and Murray Grainger (accordion) combine to produce incredible tapestries of sound. The virtuoso duo create 'music in the moment', often springing from a single note, time signature or emotion. What emerges is uniquely magical. Their quest for the unexpected, transports the audience on a thrilling, swirling journey of sound. A recent venture, the duo only began working together in 2020, but have already featured on Folk on Foot, scored a BBC Radio 4 play & played major festivals across Europe.

Sisanda Myataza

Born & raised in South Africa, Sisanda comes from a lineage of composers & musicians. Growing up in the new dawn of post-apartheid South Africa, she considers music her birth right. A remarkable singer, Sisanda blends afro jazz & folk to create a unique set bursting with sunshine. Expect everything from Miriam Makeba to Zulu lullabies. Sisanda was named Winner of ESP Young Legends 2017 (Africa’s Grandest Gathering), was selected for Trans Musicales (France) & is lead vocalist with Songo, a hotly tipped fourtet selected for this year’s The Great Escape, the key event for the UK music industry.
