Murmuration Choir -SOLD OUT-
Murmuration choir is a Bristol based contemporary vocal project led by Isolde Freeth-Hale.
They are back for an hour mid-winter sound bath concert with yoga Nidra led by yoga teacher Elena Byers. This is an opportunity to take a break from the holiday chaos and immerse yourself in the healing sound of vocal harmony, spoken word, interwoven with circle song, ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response), therapeutic instruments, looped soundscapes from beatboxer Jack Salt, and re-imagined contemporary choral pieces that explore sleep, dreams, meditation, and the parasympathetic nervous system.
You do not need to do anything but lie down on a yoga mat and be surrounded by a warm cocoon of 70 voices, in the beautiful setting of the Fyfe Hall. Elena will lead participants through some very gentle, accessible movements to allow you to settle fully in and out of relaxation, and there will be the opportunity to join us in simple sound making to reawaken you back into a refreshed state, ready to face the demands of the holiday season.
Herbal teas will be available from the Trinity bar afterwards.
