People in our area are struggling to pay for the essentials they need to live. The social security systems set up to protect them aren’t able to provide for their basic needs.
This shouldn’t be the case.
Bristol & South Gloucestershire Trussell Trust food banks have invited the local Parliamentary Candidates to join us for an evening to discuss what they, if elected, will do to tackle the root causes of poverty and food bank use.
This is your chance to hear directly from the electoral candidates running for Bristol East, engage in a lively discussion, ask questions, and hear about their plans to support people in the community.
