Expect the usual great tunes, great company and a chance to see all your friends or make lots of new ones. Some of our members come for a while – some stay the whole night.

Music will come from DJs (Will, David, A-J) who are here to get you on the dance floor. You can let one of the Misfits Team on the day if you have a special music request. There is plenty of space to sit back and watch if you prefer and the bar will be open all evening (18+, ID required for buying drinks).

There is some parking on site, you just need to pay at the car park machine or via the Ringo app for how many hours you stay. If the car park is full, you can also park on nearby street parking.

The Misfit’s Guide to a Good Night Out

Travel Safely:

• Make sure someone knows where you are going and when you expect to be back.

• If you need help booking a taxi let one of the Misfits Staff know.

Know your limits:

• We all love dancing at Rhythm of The Night but it is also good to take a break when you need to.

• Keep yourself safe by not drinking more than you can manage.

Enjoy yourself and allow others to enjoy themselves too:

• We all have the right to have a good time. If you don’t feel comfortable because of someone else’s actions let the Misfits Team or Venue Staff know and we can help.

• Keep an eye out on other people you are with. If we all look out for each other, we can all have a good time.

• Respect each other's space and give each other room.

Why do the NHS need you to give blood?
The NHS need new blood donors from all backgrounds to ensure there is the right blood available for patients who need it.

The NHS need:

• 4,300 blood donations every day on average to meet the needs of our hospitals
• over 140,000 people to donate blood for the first time this year
• 12,000 new Black heritage donors, to meet the growing demand for ethnically matched blood for sickle cell patients who need regular transfusions to stay alive
• more young people aged 17-35 to donate, to ensure we have enough blood for the future

You can sign up to be a donor if you:

• Are able to attend appointments in England
• Pass the eligibility check on the sign up page

Trinity Presents - Celebrating 50 Years of Music

This event is part of Trinity Presents, our in-house series that bring outstanding performers and exciting new voices to communities at the heart of the city.

Although SWhoop generally caters to a higher level hooper it is still beginner friendly with a variety of levels of workshops to suit all.  Since 2022 I have also added the option of a ‘non-hooper ticket’ when I realised some people were just coming to spend the whole convention in the amazing crafts tent

As well as all the workshops there are three amazing shows, a quiz and a Ceilidh with a live band! Saturday party until 2am, ukulele classes everyday and the best vegan food the UK has to offer and you have SWhoop!

SWhoop is a 5 day Extravaganza not to be missed.

Robert Jon & The Wreck bring their signature blend of Southern rock and West Coast soul to the stage, captivating audiences around the world with searing guitar work, soulful harmonies, and honest songwriting. Since forming in 2011, they’ve toured extensively across the U.S. and Europe, sharing stages with Joe Bonamassa, Blackberry Smoke, Rival Sons, Samantha Fish, Buddy Guy, and more. Their 2023 release Live at the Ancienne Belgique was hailed by Music News as “one of the best live albums.” Now, with their newest record Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes produced by legendary Kevin Shirley earning widespread acclaim, the band is riding a new wave of momentum and winning over fans everywhere.

These Wicked Rivers formed in 2014 in Belper, Derbyshire. The band have gained a reputation for soulful-bordering-on-spiritual live performances, building a devoted following across the UK (and beyond) affectionately known as the “Rivers Family”. Thanks to a relentless work ethic and timeless songcraft the band have built unstoppable momentum in recent years.2026 is set to mark a landmark chapter for the quintet, with their hotly-anticipated third studio album Fire and Folklore (featuring Planet Rock favourite “Horse to Water”) set for release on 2nd October 2026 via Fat Earth Records. Embark on a wine adventure with six unique wines, each offering its own distinct flavour. For couples, friends, or solo attendees, An Idiot’s Guide to Wine offers the perfect blend of laughter, learning, and liquid courage

At the heart of the evening we are bringing together an exciting line up of artists and sounds from across the city and beyond. Expect live performances from:

Alongside the performances, we’ll be celebrating Black creativity and culture, through a special exhibition in the Graffiti room. The exhibition will be open from Friday 9th until Tuesday 13th, during the building’s opening hours, offering a space to pause, connect and reflect. Artists TBA.

This is an evening about joy, identity, community and creative expression, creating space for Black artists and audiences to come together, share in each other’s work and celebrate Black History Month.

The alternative rock band is a three-time Grammy-nominated and JUNO award-winning group, who soared to the top of the worldwide charts in the early 1990’s with hits “Mmm, Mmm, Mmm, Mmm” and “Superman’s Song”. Their cover of “The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead” was a highlight of the soundtrack to the blockbuster film, “Dumb and Dumber”, while simultaneously reaching #4 on the US Top 100 album charts. They have remained true to the same folk-hued, alternative spirit of their early sound, centered around the distinct baritone of frontman Brad Roberts and Ellen Reid’s folk rock fusion.
