MISSIO is an American alternative electronic duo from Austin, Texas.

They fearlessly break the rules as they fuse elements of rock, electronic, indie, and hip-hop into an unmatched and uncompromising hybrid. They tie seemingly disparate threads together with honest and heartfelt lyrics meant to both provoke and inspire.

They stand as a monument to accidental success and a testimony to the idea of 'failing up.' By not taking its career seriously, the band has accomplished more than many of its uptight 'destine to make it' peers. Following a mid-80s blueprint of moving to LA to be sucked into the fast life, Drug Church has left its Albany origins in the rear view. Now experiencing the inability to make rent on a whole new level, the band is producing its best material to date.

Downstairs you'll find a comic, illustration and zine fair bursting at the seams with ziney and zillary goodness from over 50 artists to feed your eyes and souls. Jaunt upstairs for animation screenings and discussions hosted by our wonderful friends at Animinspo, who will once again be awarding the best in independent animation. Rounding out the day there'll be a variety of workshops, talks and performances to take part in and enjoy.

Keep an eye out for the Zinezilla Comics Anthology that will be making a return, as well as big kaiju friends Gordon, Kong and Meg who you'll find dotted around the festival.

Prakash, this special collaboration brings together artists from different musical traditions in an evening of improvisation, rhythm and musical discovery.

Flamin' Groovies announce a handful of dates this autumn to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their iconic Power Pop song (and album) 'Shake Some Action'. Originally formed in San Francisco by Cyril Jordan and Roy Loney in 1965, Flamin' Groovies released their first three seminal albums 'Supersnazz', 'Flamingo', and 'Teenage Head' before Roy Loney left the group in 1971. Chris Wilson replaced Loney and the band went on release their now classic albums betweern 1976-1979 - 'Shake Some Action', 'Flamin' Groovies Now' and 'Jumpin' In The Night'. In 1976, Flamin' Groovies headlined the Roundhouse in London with support from Ramones and The Stranglers. This legendary concert has been cited as one of the influences behind the punk rock scene.

Presented in the historic Pump Room, 'Night Moves' (2026) is a multi-screen video installation by artist and filmmaker Melanie Manchot. Commissioned by the RWA (Royal West of England Academy) with support from Art Fund and the RWA Commissioning Circle, the work brings together Bristol-based dancers, performers and skaters filmed across the city after dark.

Alongside the installation, visitors can join guided tours of Jacobs Wells Baths and discover more about the building's history, restoration and future plans.

For this special edition, Pangea is bringing together musicians from Mali, Burkina Faso and Ireland for a one-off live collaboration.

Boubacar Samake & Seydou Kienou bring traditional music from Mali and Burkina Faso, alongside Wildtune Irish Session Band, serving up jigs, reels and plenty of craic. The two bands will meet for a special improvised set, finding a shared musical language between West Africa and Ireland. Expect something spontaneous, joyful and seriously danceable.
