Stand + Stare’s Theatre Jukebox is an arcade-style cabinet that tells stories in a unique way. You are invited to choose from a selection of images which, when placed on the tabletop, come to life, as if by magic. Each one presents a short story or experience through audio and projection.
The resulting experience is a fragmented narrative, pieced together by the audience member/s. It is like snippets of memory or flicking through a photo album, each picture sparking images, associations, snatches of conversations and ideas.

For Bridges, the artists who have developed Theatre Jukebox, Barney and Lucy Heywood, will be running a course of workshops.
This will be your chance to work with them to explore your own stories, find your own images and ultimately create your own cards for the Theatre Jukebox. They will then be curated to form part of the Bridges exhibition at Trinity in September 2012.
Theatre Jukebox was created by Stand + Stare with support from Pervasive Media Studio and Arts Council England.
Please note that these workshops take place at The Watershed: 1 Canon's Road Bristol, Avon BS1 5TX
