Trinity to host Bristolympics Alternative Games
The Trinity Centre in Lawrence Hill will be hosting a free day of alternative games, in celebration of the Olympic Games. The 'Bristolympics' will see teams competing in true Bristol style, in a series of alternative games, including Egg & Spoon Races, Bunting Limbo / Hurdles and Human Buckaroo.
The event is being held in association with The Love of It - a local volunteer community arts movement that encourages people to get together and hold their own free fun events.
The big event will be held on Saturday 28 July, 12pm-6pm and will feature its own closing ceremony. Teams can score extra points for style and flair as well as having the best team kit.
The event is for everyone - whether you're a family, a group of friends or an individual who just wants to come along and join in the fun.
