Recently announced as a nominee for the BBC's Sound of 2012 poll, La Havas made her television debut on 21 October 2011, on BBC Two’s Later… with Jools Holland. Her official debut single, Lost & Found will be released in the UK on April 30 and her debut album, Is Your Love Big Enough will be released on July 9.
Velvet-voiced Londoner, Lianne La Havas has emerged as one of the UK’s most exciting new talents, after the release of her two critically acclaimed EP’s ‘Lost and Found’ and ‘Forget’. Lianne la Havas is pleased to announce details of her debut single ‘Lost and Found’ which will be released 30th April on Warner Bros Records. ‘Lost and Found’ which has been produced by Matt Hales will include remixes from Ifan Dafydd and Lapalux + two brand new tracks ‘Liar’ and ‘Empty’.
After selling out her one month residency at London’s The Social in less than four hours, Lianne mirrored the feat by selling out her headline show at London’s The Scala over three months in advance. The fevered excitement around Lianne has spread across the UK, Europe and the US where all her shows are selling out in hours.
After performing at the BBC Radio 1’s ‘Live from Hull’ Lianne was confirmed as the main support slot to Bombay Bicycle Club on their April UK tour, which includes shows at Alexander Palace and Blackpool Empress Ballroom.
