10th - 14th September, 6-9pm

Cost: FREE (Refreshments included)

The workshop will enable participants to work together to create an ensemble dance piece based on their shared stories.

Medea’s workshops will start with a short storytelling session lead by writer Edson Burton. We will then work together to create an expressive dance piece based on our stories while having fun. Anyone with an interest in dance, storytelling and music is invited to take part. Composer Hans is creating a new composition specially for the workshop and will be accompanying the work with live guitar. An opportunity not to be missed.

Medea’s many collaborative dance theatre projects have tackled topical themes including adoption, censorship, and most recently refugees (www.footwork.org/medea).

The work made will feature as part of the Bridges Project exhibition at Trinity in September.

If you would like to book one of the few remaining places to participate, please contact: bridges@3ca.org.uk , or call 0117 935 1200 or pop into the office.

All ages, backgrounds and levels of experience welcome!
