Caring at Christmas

Caring in Bristol’s annual Caring at Christmas project has been providing safe accommodation, food and social activities to homeless and vulnerable people in Bristol over the festive period for the last 30 years. Every year hundreds of volunteers come together to provide vital support and services at Christmas.

For Caring at Christmas 2018 we are excited to be partnering with the Trinity Centre for the first time. We will be running a day centre for homeless and vulnerable people at Trinity between 24th and 28th December 2018, from 10am until 6pm. Our amazing team of volunteers will help us provide food, warmth, company and shelter to 150 guests each day. We will also be providing additional support and wellbeing services including haircuts, massage, first aid and support from the Samaritans.

In addition to this day centre we will be running a separate night shelter based at the Julian Trust Night Shelter on Wilder Street in St Pauls. Volunteers there will help us provide accommodation as well as an evening meal and breakfast for up to 50 guests over the Christmas period.
