DIY Arts Summer Drinks
The annual DIY Arts summer drinks bring together the brilliant people of Bristol’s cultural sector to celebrate the work we do and share some positive vibes- which, after the challenges of the last few months, will be especially welcome. The drinks will take place in both real-life and online settings, to enable all to attend. Everyone working in the culture sector is welcome, however physical numbers will be limited due to social distancing guidelines.
Current guidelines for meeting people outside of your household are that people can "socialise outdoors in a group of up to 6 people from different households", therefore please bear this in mind on arrival.
Trinity Garden is a lovely big space, ideal for social distancing and we are working hard to plan a safe gathering. For those of you who can’t make it in person, Watershed’s online platform will provide a virtual celebration, connecting you to others in five minute slots – though you will have to sort your own drinks.
We need everyone to sign up to enable contact tracing, and so we can send out more info.

A super-easy to use random connections generator - You will be paired up at random for five-minute conversations, one on one with other guests, before you are moved on to the next person. We don’t expect anyone to want to talk nonstop, don’t worry! There will be the option to take a break in between each chat and you are welcome to pop in and out whenever you like during the couple of hours (just use the same personal link to start again).
The Bristol DIY Arts Network is an independent gathering of arts organisations and arts practitioners, large and small, funded (Arts Council, Bristol City Council) and unfunded, all of whom deliver cultural programmes within the city of Bristol.
