Dr Glyn Everett - Trustee
Glyn served as a Trustee between 2014-2023 and rejoined the board in 2024. He is a Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Architecture and Built Environment Research (CABER) at UWE, focusing on education, disability and environmental matters.
Glyn's interest is in co-creating understandings of accessibility and solutions with stakeholders.
He has a background in research around the environment and using education and learning as tools of social empowerment.
Previous research projects have focused on widening public engagement with natural history (Uclan), young graduates and lifelong learning (University of Surrey) and young people with learning disabilities' experiences in Further Education (Norah Fry Research Centre, University of Bristol).
As an avid gig-goer and wheelchair-user, Glyn has been involved with serveral access charities including, Attitude is Everything and WECIL working with venues to help support accessibility improvements.
