Rhythm of the Night - Funky Llama

A special inclusive event part of Doing Things Differently – celebrating equality in the arts

The Misfits Theatre Company are joining forces with Plymouth’s Funky Llama for a special "Rhythm of the Night", a nightclub event for adults with learning disabilities, their families and friends.

A joint event as part of Doing Things Differently , it's all about celebrating, learning and talking about equality in the arts.

So put on your dancing shoes and come along to a fun night with guest DJ's all the way from Plymouth, DJ Joshie B & DJ Dolphin - great music and a chance to meet new people!

There will also be a flashmob performance at 8pm. If you like to dance and would like to be involved then join our rehearsals earlier on the day

Flashmob Rehearsals 6.30pm - 7.30pm

Disco starts at 7.30pm

Tickets £5 - on the door

Bar open - please note you have to be over 18 to buy alcoholic drinks from our bar. You will be asked for an ID, so please bring one with you.

Funky Llama Plymouth Theatre Royal offer innovative events and creative support for adults with different abilities. They believe in raising aspirations, creating opportunities, challenging perceptions and developing a regional and national network of creative activity.

Bristol based Misfits Theatre are a theatre and social group led for and by people with learning difficulties. Recognised for their role as providers of unique workshop and training solutions, they work with both private businesses and the public sector. Misfits aim to enable people with learning difficulties to be creative, have fun and reach their potential through participation, performance, volunteering and employment.

Please note that Trinity has a public pay and display car park. It applies to anyone parking at the Centre, including staff, hirers, centre users and blue badge holders. The rates start at £1.50 (for 1hr) and go up to £4.50 for 12hrs. More info about Trinity's car park can be found here
